Intelligent Insights Specialist - Finance Reporting and Data Analytics

About the role

EY Global Delivery Services (GDS) is looking for an Intelligent Insights Specialist to join its Finance Reporting and Data Analytics team. The specialist turns data into actionable insights for business decisions, producing analytical analysis, data visualizations and reports for leadership teams worldwide. The role requires strong financial domain knowledge and a solid grasp of SQL and data warehousing.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex data sets and derive actionable business insights, collaborating with stakeholders on requirements and objectives
• Build financial, revenue and predictive models, run trend analysis and lead business segment reporting on sales, revenue and markets
• Create interactive visualizations from multiple data sources and present findings clearly to leadership and non-technical audiences
• Work with finance and business teams to align data insights with organizational goals and contribute to related tasks
• Document methodologies and results, and maintain reports, dashboards and performance metrics following data governance best practices

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, information science, finance and data analytics or a related field
• 6 to 8 years of experience in financial reporting and analytics, with 6+ years using Power BI and SQL Server
• Financial modeling and forecasting experience
• Ability to manage a portfolio of projects, work in a fast-paced environment and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Required skills

• SQL and data warehousing fundamentals
• Power BI for interactive reports and dashboards
• Advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, charts)
• Statistical knowledge to validate models (statistical software or programming languages a plus)
