IAM Analyst (Operations Technician)

About the role

EY's Information Security team protects data and information systems, and its Identity and Access Management (IAM) organization helps over 330,000 people across 140+ countries access systems securely. As an IAM Analyst, you will contribute to an IAM roadmap covering Active Directory, hybrid cloud, mobile computing, policy-driven security, SSO, identity lifecycle management and federation. The role is Level 2 and 3 technical support for access and account management inquiries.

Key responsibilities

• Act as second and third tier technical support for customer account inquiries, resolving or escalating access and account management incidents across multiple environments and platforms.
• Carry out operation-level troubleshooting to minimize end-user and system downtime.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend improvements to IAM processes to prevent future access issues.
• Document issue details and resolutions in the support tracking system.

Required profile

• Ideally a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Around 3 to 5 years of security administration experience supporting IT products or security administration, with working knowledge of large IT organization operations.
• Ability to make sound decisions and recommend improvements, manage your own priorities and communicate clearly with requesters, management and executives.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, including user and group maintenance and service accounts, and experience with elevated access and security requirements.
• Experience with Azure AD.
• Basic knowledge of Outlook/Exchange, Microsoft Teams, networks, servers and general connectivity.
• English communication skills; strong oral and written English is required.
