Job description
About the role
The Go-to-Market Content Development Manager is an embedded content and sales-enablement role supporting the USLI CCaSS team. The person identifies priority go-to-market and sales-content needs, turns complex propositions into clear business narratives and develops or tailors high-quality assets for internal education and client conversations. The role owns an insight-led content plan and delivery cadence, works with CCaSS and GTM leaders, subject-matter experts, client-facing teams, Business Development, BMC, Insights and others, and uses stakeholder feedback and performance data to improve content effectiveness.
Key responsibilities
- Research: engage stakeholders to clarify objectives, priorities, buyer needs and differentiators; collaborate on research on themes, client issues, competitors and campaigns; reuse existing Global, regional and cross-SL assets; validate messages with subject-matter experts; stay aware of emerging topics and formats, including AI-enabled tools.
- Develop or tailor GTM and sales content: client discussion decks, strategy and account decks, talk tracks, solution briefs, sales toolkits, client emailers, newsletters, thought leadership, event materials and self-serve guidance; turn complex technical information into concise, business-centric narratives.
- Build content for campaigns and events, and prepare modular, version-controlled self-service packs of sales assets.
- Create and maintain a prioritized content calendar and execution plan, and manage end-to-end content projects, including scoping, timelines, reviews, approvals and risks.
- Manage the content demand pipeline, coordinate working sessions and reviews, run quality checks for accuracy, brand and SCORE alignment and accessibility, and manage content libraries and distribution channels.
- Measure impact: define success measures such as adoption, usage and stakeholder feedback, gather feedback, track effectiveness with dashboards and distribution data, and present recommendations to leadership.
Required profile
- University degree required; MBA or master's in marketing, communications or a related field is desirable but not required.
- About 8-10 years of relevant business experience for an Assistant Director role, including substantial GTM content, sales enablement, marketing or business development experience.
- Experience in a large, global, multi-stakeholder organization; professional services experience preferred.
- Portfolio or examples of high-quality B2B narrative and sales-content development are desirable.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of B2B GTM and demand generation, with experience tailoring content for different audiences, channels and stages of the client conversation.
- Excellent business writing, editing, storytelling and presentation skills.
- Strong research, synthesis, critical thinking, stakeholder, project and matrix management, and the ability to influence senior audiences.
- Advanced Microsoft PowerPoint and Word, strong Excel and SharePoint; working knowledge of Co-pilot and other GenAI tools, data visualization/reporting tools and content-management platforms is desirable.
