GBS Human Resources Services Senior Manager

About the role

The GBS Human Resources Services Senior Manager leads the strategic direction and operational execution of HR services across the Americas for Air Liquide. Reporting to the Business Shared Services General Manager, the role oversees a team of 65 professionals in 10 countries, ensuring efficient delivery of talent acquisition, payroll, compensation, and employee relations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead standardized HR processes across multiple countries, including talent acquisition, payroll administration, compensation, benefits, and international mobility.
• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the HR GBS Services team, monitor KPIs and SLAs, and ensure legal compliance.
• Develop and mentor a high‑performing, multilingual HR team, fostering a collaborative and customer‑centric culture.
• Build strong relationships with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and business leaders, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Drive continuous improvement, process automation, and digital HR solutions to enhance service quality and reduce costs.
• Oversee HR data management, produce accurate reports and dashboards for senior leadership, and mitigate operational risks.

Required profile

• University degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• 8–10 years of HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a shared services or center‑of‑excellence environment.
• Proven experience managing international payroll, benefits administration, and multiple HR functions across several countries.
• Strong analytical, project management, and change‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and reporting tools.
• Experience using data analytics tools for HR reporting.
• Knowledge of Google Suite for collaboration and documentation.
