Full‑Stack Software Engineer – Talent Matching

About the role

We are looking for a full‑stack Software Engineer to join our Talent Discovery team on a 12‑month contract. You will work on employer‑facing features that help recruiters find and rank relevant candidates using search and AI‑driven matching.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web‑based applications that support talent matching and rediscovery.
• Implement and optimise search and ranking pipelines using OpenSearch or Elasticsearch.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data and Applied ML partners to deliver high‑impact features.
• Write clean, scalable code, fix bugs, and ensure system performance and reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of production software development experience.
• Strong full‑stack background with backend APIs, data modelling and modern front‑end development.
• Experience working with search, ranking, recommendation or matching systems.
• Ability to apply AI/ML techniques to production applications.

Required skills

• Ruby, C#, Java, Python (Ruby on Rails preferred)
• JavaScript or TypeScript, React
• OpenSearch or Elasticsearch (indexing, query design, relevance tuning)
• AI/ML fundamentals for search relevance
