Frontend Engineer – Medical Imaging Viewer

About the role

We are creating a web‑based medical imaging viewer that enables researchers to transform imaging data into actionable insights. As a Mid‑level Frontend Engineer you will work closely with product, design and backend teams to deliver high‑performance UI components.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement core functionality for the imaging viewer using TypeScript and ReactJS.
• Maintain and optimise existing frontend features for performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers to troubleshoot issues and deliver robust solutions.
• Work with product and design to ensure UI aligns with the design system and is responsive.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand‑ups and retrospectives.
• Contribute to an Angular‑based frontend when required.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional frontend development experience.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and ReactJS.
• Experience with DICOM viewers (e.g., OHIF) and client/server integration.
• Clear written and verbal communication in English (Upper‑Intermediate).
