Freelance Developer for Digital Advertising

About the role

WPP Production is seeking a Freelance Developer to create high‑quality, scalable digital advertising experiences. You will build and optimise dynamic creative campaigns across multiple ad‑serving and DCO platforms, collaborating closely with account, project, creative and media teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript banners, animations (CSS, GSAP) and modular DCO templates.
• Implement dynamic variables, business rules and data feeds (CSV, JSON, XML, Google Sheets) for personalised campaigns.
• Prepare publication packages with proper naming, tags, clickTags and polite loading.
• Upload and traffic creative assets across DCO and ad‑serving platforms according to client tech stacks.
• Partner with account, project and client teams to translate marketing strategies into technical requirements and define technical workflows.
• Estimate effort, identify risks and support QA, tracking validation and documentation.

Required profile

• 3–5 years experience developing HTML5 banners and dynamic creative solutions for paid media.
• Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 and vanilla JavaScript, with experience using GSAP for animations.
• Hands‑on experience with DCO and ad‑serving platforms such as Google Marketing Platform (Studio, Campaign Manager 360, Display & Video 360), Flashtalking, Sizmek, Celtra or similar.
• Experience working with dynamic data feeds (CSV, JSON, XML) and performing cross‑browser/device QA.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
