About the role

We are looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Specialist with strong Fortinet expertise to join a consolidated technical team in Argentina. The role focuses on protecting the organization’s perimeter, managing FortiGate firewalls, VPNs, and responding to security incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Administer, configure and maintain Fortinet FortiGate firewalls in production environments.
• Design, implement and manage site‑to‑site and remote‑access VPNs.
• Monitor, analyze and respond to security incidents using SOC and SIEM processes.
• Deploy and manage complementary solutions such as IPS/IDS, WAF and EDR.
• Diagnose and resolve network and security incidents.
• Document configurations, procedures and security policies.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, network and other technical teams to improve overall security posture.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience administering Fortinet solutions, especially FortiGate.
• Proven experience designing and managing VPNs and perimeter security.
• Hands‑on experience with SOC/SIEM incident monitoring and response.
• Knowledge of IPS/IDS, WAF, EDR or similar cybersecurity tools.
• Resident in Argentina and available to work onsite three days per week.
• English not mandatory but desirable for reading technical documentation.
