Director, People & Culture

About the role

CodeRoad is seeking a senior leader to head its People & Culture function across LATAM and the United States. Reporting directly to the CEO and sitting on the Executive Team, the Director will own the full employee and contractor lifecycle, from talent strategy to compliance, total rewards, learning and culture.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO, VP of Delivery & Engineering and the Executive Team on organizational design, workforce planning, leadership development and cultural initiatives.
• Define and execute a multi‑year People & Culture strategy aligned with CodeRoad’s growth and AI‑driven service evolution.
• Lead, coach and develop the People & Culture team, fostering high performance and embodying company values.
• Oversee talent strategy and operations for both full‑time employees and a large contract/nearshore delivery workforce, ensuring consistent experience and governance.
• Drive performance management, career frameworks, succession planning and leadership development programs.
• Manage multi‑country HR compliance across LATAM jurisdictions and the United States, collaborating with legal and finance on labor law, contractor classification and immigration.
• Own compensation philosophy, benefits and recognition programs to ensure competitiveness and equity across geographies.
• Maintain and improve the People tech stack (BambooHR, Coursera, Jira) and explore AI‑enabled enhancements to the employee experience.

Required profile

• Proven experience building and scaling People functions in a professional services or near‑shore delivery environment.
• Hands‑on leadership style with a track record of influencing C‑level executives.
• Deep understanding of HR compliance in both LATAM and U.S. jurisdictions.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate company values into concrete programs and rituals.
