Cybersecurity Governance, Risk & Compliance Associate

About the role

Join PwC's Acceleration Center in Buenos Aires as a Cybersecurity Governance, Risk & Compliance Associate. You will support client engagements focused on regulatory compliance, risk identification, internal controls, and practical guidance within the Cyber, Data & Tech Risk practice.

Key responsibilities

• Support cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance engagements by gathering requirements, organizing work products, and tracking deliverables.
• Review security policies, control documentation, and regulatory requirements to identify gaps and remediation areas.
• Assist with compliance reviews, risk assessments, and control testing across cyber, data, and technology environments.
• Document findings, escalate issues, and maintain clear records of status, actions, and follow‑up items.
• Interpret frameworks and client requirements to translate control objectives into practical activities.
• Participate in process mapping and workflow reviews to identify control points and operational dependencies.
• Analyze information from multiple sources to spot patterns, exceptions, and emerging risks.
• Prepare draft summaries and support materials for internal reviews and client discussions.

Required profile

• At least a Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in oral and written English.
• Experience with cybersecurity, governance, risk, and compliance coursework or projects.
• Familiarity with controls testing, risk analysis, policy reviews, IT audit, internal audit, or SOX testing.
• Strong communication skills for gathering facts from varied sources and adapting quickly across clients and scopes.
