Cloud Engineer

About the role

Avature is looking for experienced Cloud Engineers to join its Engineering area in several Argentine locations. The role bridges infrastructure and development teams, providing the tools, environments, and automation needed for modern software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure and maintain cloud environments using Kubernetes, Docker, OpenStack, AWS and related technologies.
• Create frameworks, templates and infrastructure‑as‑code recipes that enable development teams to run services reliably.
• Define and promote DevOps/SRE standards, automating complex operations across global data‑centers.
• Collaborate with operations teams to automate manual tasks and support platform administration at the OS level.
• Conduct code reviews and refactor infrastructure code to improve quality and maintainability.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud administration and containerization (AWS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Puppet.
• Willingness to learn or experience with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Packer, LXD, KVM).
• Advanced Linux administration skills.
