Data Governance Senior Associate (US Client)

About the role

Join PwC's Acceleration Center in Buenos Aires as a Data Governance Senior Associate supporting a US client. You will work with global advisory, assurance, tax and business services teams to address privacy law and data protection challenges, delivering high‑impact governance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement data governance frameworks and operating models.
• Lead design and rollout of data governance strategies, policies, standards and roadmaps.
• Manage technology implementations, from requirements gathering to production rollout and stakeholder adoption.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define data ownership, stewardship, metadata, lineage, quality and lifecycle practices.
• Work with cross‑functional teams on data breach response and cybersecurity enhancements.
• Support privacy program development and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee records and information security to protect personal data.
• Provide regulatory compliance consulting and actionable recommendations.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant data governance experience.
• Fluent oral and written English.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one enterprise data governance platform.
• Proven track record implementing data governance or data cataloging programs.
