About the role
Help shape the future of AI by designing challenging bioinformatics problems that test and improve reasoning in cutting‑edge models. The role is remote, part‑time (20 hours per week) with an immediate start.
Key responsibilities
- Design advanced, deterministic bioinformatics problems for AI training and evaluation.
- Create tasks with exactly one verifiable correct answer and provide complete, documented solutions.
- Develop problems covering sequence analysis, genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, phylogenetics, or computational biology.
- Validate solutions using Python, R, command‑line tools or specialized workflows, ensuring reproducibility and technical precision.
Required profile
- Master’s or PhD in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genomics or a closely related field.
- Strong research or industry experience with biological datasets and computational analysis.
- Excellent attention to detail and technical writing skills in English.
