Bilingual CPA – Senior Bookkeeping & Financial Operator

About the role

Higher Options seeks a bilingual (English/Spanish) CPA to lead full‑cycle bookkeeping and financial operations for a dynamic U.S. real‑estate group. You will support brokerage, investment, and development entities while providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Perform full‑cycle bookkeeping for multiple entities, including real‑estate brokerages, investment companies, and project‑specific LLCs.
• Maintain GAAP‑compliant accounting, job‑cost tracking, project‑level financials, and consolidated reporting.
• Manage monthly and year‑end close processes, journal entries, and bank/credit‑card reconciliations.
• Track intercompany transactions and execute eliminations during consolidation.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, conduct variance analysis, and support executive decision‑making.
• Issue 1099s, ensure W‑9 compliance, and coordinate tax‑filing documentation with external CPA.
• Keep financial records audit‑ready and build rolling cash‑flow forecasts.
• Assist in capital‑allocation decisions and quarterly strategic reviews.
• Oversee personal financial tracking and reporting for the CEO.

Required profile

• Licensed CPA with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and full‑charge bookkeeping.
• Experience with multi‑entity accounting structures and intercompany eliminations.
• Proven ability to handle job costing and project‑based accounting.
• Fluent in Spanish and proficient in English (B2‑C1 level).
