About the role

The Cost Control and Operational Excellence team at Vestas is looking for a Senior Cost Analyst to support cost monitoring, budgeting and financial performance across the Latin American region.

Key responsibilities

Manage and monitor the detailed composition of hourly rates by item.
Review and approve all cost impacts on the hourly rate account.
Follow up with finance on all cost allocations.
Monitor site expenses to ensure adherence to budget guidelines and mitigate risks.
Analyze and challenge allocations charged to contracts from support departments such as Supply Chain, Transport, Service Operations, and Service Sales.

Required profile

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
Minimum 4 years of finance experience focused on costs.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Advanced Power BI skills.
Advanced Excel proficiency.
