Associate Director, Microsoft Business Intelligence Strategist

About the role

EY is looking for an Associate Director to act as Microsoft Business Intelligence Strategist in Buenos Aires. The role sits in the GDS Alliance Partner Operations COE and provides ongoing data and operations support for the EY-Microsoft Alliance, working closely with the Financial Reporting function to turn data and operational signals into actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted advisor to Microsoft Alliance leadership, turning complex data and operational signals into practical recommendations and scenario options.
• Analyze weekly, monthly and annual results and produce customized revenue, sales and pipeline visualizations and insights.
• Support opportunity management, prospect tracking, key wins tracking and digital transformation initiatives with the Finance Reporting team.
• Drive a BI-driven transformation of business and financial reporting using Power BI and SQL, and build a Microsoft-focused reporting infrastructure beyond global dashboards.
• Lead alignment across alliance teams (sales, finance, enablement, marketing, sectors, regions, technology and data) and shape executive narratives for business reviews, QBRs, steering committees and investment reviews.
• Program manage partner tools, portals, access requests, certifications and skill tracking, and keep reference material up to date in SharePoint.
• Manage onshore stakeholder expectations, plans and communication, and partner with onshore enablement contacts on strategic projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree; project or program management certification is an added advantage.
• 15+ years of work experience.
• Experience with Alliance or partner programs in a professional services or technology environment.
• For internal candidates: knowledge of EY and GDS operations; for external candidates: Big 4 consultancy experience in leadership support or strategic roles.

Required skills

• Advanced skills in MS Excel and PowerPoint; competence in Power BI.
• Experience with large data sets and matrixed collaboration.
• Excellent written and oral English, with strong business writing.
