Workday AMS Talent & Learning Consultant

About the role

As a Workday AMS HCM Lead Consultant (Talent & Learning) you will lead support, configuration and enhancement of Workday HCM solutions for global clients, acting as a subject‑matter expert within the AMS team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver expert configuration and support in Workday Talent & Learning.
• Serve as primary client contact, providing strategic advice and high‑quality solutions.
• Advise on dependencies, cross‑stream implications and maintenance concerns.
• Own configuration of complex initiatives and guide client testing.
• Mentor junior consultants and promote capability development.
• Manage competing priorities across multiple clients, communicating timelines and blockers.
• Suggest improvements to configuration and user experience.

Required profile

• Workday certification and/or significant hands‑on experience configuring Talent and Learning.
• Solid understanding of related Workday functional areas beyond core specialty.
• Proven success in a client‑facing consulting role or client‑side HRIS team.
• Strong customer engagement and communication skills, including presenting to senior stakeholders.
