Lead Product Manager, Automation

About the role

The Automation and Innovation Team within HR Products is seeking a Lead Product Manager to drive vision, strategy, and roadmap for high‑impact HR automation solutions. You will lead complex initiatives from concept through delivery, mentor other product managers, and ensure product outcomes align with Disney's organizational goals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own product vision, strategy, and roadmap for key automation products, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Gather and refine requirements with technology, design, business, and operations partners, translating them into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Lead cross‑functional teams through discovery, planning, execution, release, and optimization while managing risk, dependencies, and scope.
• Define and monitor key performance metrics, using data to build business cases and identify continuous‑improvement opportunities.
• Champion Agile and product‑centric ways of working, coaching teams on backlog management, release planning, and iterative delivery.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience as a Lead Product Manager or equivalent, delivering digital/technology products in complex environments.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; data/analytics experience and Agile certifications (e.g., CSPO) preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP platforms such as Workday and SAP.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools.
• Hands‑on experience with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Strong data‑driven product management, including KPI measurement and business case development.
