Vacation Rental Operations Manager (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a highly organized, customer‑focused professional to manage the day‑to‑day operations of a growing vacation‑rental business. This remote position involves handling guest communication, reservations, and property coordination to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to guest inquiries via Airbnb, VRBO, SMS, email, and other messaging platforms.
• Manage booking requests, modifications, cancellations, and special requests.
• Provide check‑in/check‑out instructions and assist guests throughout their stay.
• Resolve guest issues professionally and coordinate solutions.
• Maintain accurate calendars across multiple booking platforms to prevent double bookings.
• Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance teams, and vendors to ensure properties are guest‑ready.
• Schedule turnovers, monitor cleaning completion, and track maintenance requests.
• Maintain reservation records, spreadsheets, and operational reports.
• Update property information, availability, and pricing as instructed.
• Document and improve operational processes (SOPs) and support administrative tasks.

Required profile

• Previous experience managing Airbnb or other short‑term rental properties.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to handle multiple properties and conversations simultaneously.
• Proactive, reliable, and solution‑oriented attitude.
