Operations Manager – Holiday Let

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day‑to‑day running of our expanding UK short‑term rental portfolio. The role is fully remote and offers the chance to shape processes, improve efficiency, and deliver outstanding guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operations of holiday let and serviced‑accommodation properties across the UK.
• Manage Airbnb, Booking.com, and Lodgify channel accounts, ensuring accurate calendars and listings.
• Handle guest communication via chat and phone, providing professional service.
• Onboard new properties – create listings, upload photos, write descriptions, and set pricing.
• Coordinate maintenance, cleaning teams, and guest check‑ins/check‑outs.
• Maintain compliance documentation (Gas Safety, EICR, insurance, etc.).
• Identify process improvements and reduce operational costs.
• Utilise dynamic pricing tools (PriceLabs or similar) and guest‑messaging automation (ChargeAutomation or similar).

Required profile

• 3+ years managing holiday lets, serviced accommodation, or short‑term rentals.
• Proven experience with Airbnb, Booking.com, and a channel manager such as Lodgify.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently, handle urgent situations calmly, and maintain high attention to detail.
