Talent Consultant, Assistant Director

About the role

EY's Talent team supports its clients by ensuring the right business and technical knowledge and experience are available for every occasion. As a Talent Consultant, Assistant Director, you will act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, shaping and driving the talent agenda across key areas of the business. You will partner with a diverse network of stakeholders to deliver strategic talent solutions that support business priorities, leadership effectiveness and workforce development, with a high degree of autonomy alongside close collaboration with senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate strategic talent activities for a designated employee population, acting as a primary Talent advisor to business leaders and stakeholders.
• Implement, execute and influence key Talent programs and processes such as performance management, compensation, career development and organizational effectiveness.
• Provide consultative guidance on employee and leadership matters, helping leaders navigate complex situations and make informed talent decisions.
• Use workforce data and business insights to identify trends, assess organizational needs and recommend solutions.
• Balance employee experience with business objectives, using sound judgement and critical thinking.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Significant experience in Talent Consulting, Human Capital, HR Business Partnering or a related field.
• Experience advising business leaders on a broad range of talent matters and owning a specific employee population or business area.
• Cross-border working experience.
• Strong command of English, written and oral.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Independence, business acumen, critical thinking and problem solving.
• Written and verbal communication, stakeholder management and the ability to influence leaders and drive change.

Ideally, candidates will hold an SHRM certification, have worked in professional services or a complex matrixed environment, have partnered with senior leaders on strategic talent initiatives, and know Financial Services (Banking, Capital Markets, Insurance and/or Wealth Management).
