Software Engineer (Data and AI)

About the role

Sela is seeking a Software Engineer specialized in Data and AI to design, build, and ship agentic systems for clients. This full‑time remote position is open only to candidates based in Argentina who can work primarily on Eastern Time.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement end‑to‑end features using Python, TypeScript, and .NET.
• Develop and ship LLM‑powered applications and agentic interoperability standards (A2A, AG‑UI, MCP).
• Build modern front‑end interfaces with React and ensure reliability and maintainability of delivered solutions.
• Collaborate with network, cloud, and security architects on high‑impact projects.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years of professional software engineering experience or a strong public portfolio.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently within timelines and adapt to changing requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a team‑player attitude.
• Based in Argentina and available to work primarily on Eastern Time.

Required skills

• Strong fundamentals of software engineering.
• Proficiency in Python, TypeScript, or .NET (willingness to work across all three).
• Hands‑on experience building LLM‑powered applications that have shipped to real users.
• Familiarity with agentic standards such as A2A, AG‑UI, MCP.
• Experience with React for front‑end development.
• Practical knowledge of Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Working knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and AI platforms (Bedrock, Azure AI Foundry, Vertex AI).
