Head of Corporate Applications

About the role

The Head of Corporate Applications is a senior technology leader responsible for the global strategy, delivery, governance and continuous improvement of enterprise applications supporting HR, Finance, Procurement, Legal, GBS and ERP capabilities across a $3.3bn business.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the global applications strategy for core corporate platforms such as SAP ERP, Workday and Anaplan.
• Lead a portfolio of 280+ enterprise applications, overseeing operating model transformation, TSA exit and ongoing optimisation.
• Govern major programmes including system transformations, regional rollouts, upgrades and integrations.
• Manage a global team of 20+ application managers, architects and analysts, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Own vendor relationships with SAP, Workday and other key partners, ensuring service quality, cost efficiency and compliance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, Computer Science or Business Administration; MBA preferred.
• 15+ years of IT experience in large organisations, with at least five years in a global leadership role.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale ERP and corporate systems transformations.
• Strong understanding of Finance, Legal, HR and Procurement processes.
• Experience managing global, matrixed teams and working with SOX‑compliant systems.
