Software Engineer – Backend & Cloud

About the role

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join Epsilon’s Engineering team. In this role you will develop, maintain and support cloud‑based backend services that process several terabytes of data daily, enabling our marketing data platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, test and support back‑end services for a big‑data solution.
• Develop independent, scalable ETL pipelines to process large volumes of information.
• Create and manage cloud infrastructure for the solutions you design.
• Analyse business requirements, prioritize work and deliver solutions aligned with objectives.
• Collaborate within Scrum teams and work autonomously to meet targets.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of professional experience with a backend language, preferably Python.
• Proficiency in Spark and MapReduce technologies.
• Hands‑on experience with at least one cloud platform, preferably AWS.
• Familiarity with Scrum methodology and ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Proven track record of building scalable, high‑quality ETL solutions.
