Site Reliability Engineer – IT Platform

About the role

ExxonMobil is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join its Global Business Center in Buenos Aires. You will help design, build, and operate stable, scalable platforms that enable business teams to deliver value without worrying about underlying infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and continuously improve cloud‑based and on‑premise platforms.
• Support and optimise Windows and Linux environments.
• Drive automation and Infrastructure‑as‑Code practices.
• Monitor system performance, reliability and availability, and implement improvements.
• Participate in incident management, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Contribute to platform scalability, resilience, and observability enhancements.
• Collaborate with development teams to streamline deployment processes.

Required profile

• Strong interest in platform engineering and reliability.
• Ability to work in a multinational, collaborative environment.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (public or private).
• Automation skills and familiarity with Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Basic monitoring and observability concepts.
