Site Contract Specialist – Clinical Trial Agreements

About the role

The Site Contract Specialist will prepare, negotiate, and finalize agreements with study sites, ensuring alignment with internal teams and client expectations. This position supports the activation of clinical trial sites across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize site agreements in line with local processes and approved parameters.
• Coordinate with internal functional departments to align site startup activities with contractual timelines and achieve target activation cycle times.
• Identify, assess, and escalate legal, financial, and operational risks, providing alternative resolutions when needed.
• Ensure compliance with budgetary guidance, templates, and established negotiation authority.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 2‑5 years of relevant contract negotiation experience.
• Strong understanding of contract law principles, including business, IP, tax, and stamp regulations.
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work independently or within a team, managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development processes and CRO involvement.
• Familiarity with PPD SOPs and work product documents.
• Proficiency in using automated contract management systems and standard office software.
