Senior Web Designer

About the role

Amply is seeking a senior web designer to own projects end‑to‑end, from brief and creative direction through design system, execution and developer handoff. The role blends strategic partnership with marketing leaders and the use of AI in design workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Own web design from kickoff to launch, including concept, design system, execution, developer handoff and design QA.
• Deliver production‑ready work with clean design systems, consistent typography and files ready for development.
• Interpret briefs, define appropriate complexity, and develop original directions based on research.
• Manage scope and timelines, flagging risks early.
• Present to clients and defend design decisions with clear reasoning.
• Collaborate with developers on feasibility and review builds before launch.
• Use AI tools throughout research, discovery, reference gathering, concept exploration and early copy.
• Contribute to the company’s design system, standards and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• 5+ years designing marketing websites, with at least 2 years in an agency or multi‑client environment.
• Portfolio of shipped B2B or SaaS websites, able to discuss brief, constraints and improvements.
• Strong judgment, taste and ability to work autonomously within EST hours.
• Excellent English (C1 minimum) and confident client presentation skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Figma usage at a systems level (variables, auto‑layout, component architecture).
• Working knowledge of Webflow for design and build review.
• Proficient use of AI tools such as Claude, Flora, Midjourney or equivalents in a real design workflow.
