Senior Test Engineer (JavaScript, TypeScript)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Test Engineer to join our remote‑first team working on a mature, cloud‑based restaurant POS platform serving thousands of U.S. businesses. You will be responsible for both manual and automated testing, validating real‑world customer workflows through Day‑in‑the‑Life testing, and collaborating closely with developers, QA engineers, product owners, and team leads.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure product quality and reliability.
• Perform Day‑in‑the‑Life testing to validate real‑world customer workflows.
• Prepare and maintain client configurations and test environments.
• Execute manual functional, integration, and regression testing.
• Develop and maintain automated end‑to‑end, API, and integration tests.
• Monitor test execution, investigate failures, and report results.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on experience in manual and automated testing.
• Strong knowledge of software testing principles and best practices.
• Upper‑Intermediate English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
