Senior Solutions Engineer – Field (San Juan)

About the role

Motorola Solutions is looking for a highly motivated Senior Solutions Engineer to join its Services team. The engineer will be the technical point of contact for a jail project in Santa Fe, ensuring all IT, networking, video and access‑control systems operate reliably and evolve with the customer’s needs.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain Juniper networking equipment, virtualization platforms, Windows Servers, video and access‑control systems, body/object scanners and PABX.
• Provide datacenter support, including hardware and software maintenance.
• Administer and troubleshoot Windows Server and Linux operating systems.
• Manage virtual machines in VMware and vCenter environments.
• Configure and maintain firewalls, routers and switches.
• Execute preventive and corrective activities in the jail centre and monitor system performance.
• Escalate issues to vendors when necessary and ensure smooth communication between the customer and support teams.
