Senior Site Contract Specialist

About the role

The Senior Site Contract Specialist manages the preparation, negotiation and finalization of investigator contracts, ensuring quality, risk analysis and timely site activation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate and finalize agreements with study sites in line with approved parameters.
• Identify and assess legal, financial and operational risks, escalating as needed.
• Coordinate with internal functional departments to align site startup activities with contractual timelines.
• Achieve target cycle times for site activations and maintain tracking and reporting.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior staff and participate in process improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of contract law, including business, intellectual property, tax and stamp laws.
• Excellent analytical, decision‑making and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently or within a team and manage competing priorities.

Required skills

• Effective negotiation of investigator grant budgets within approved parameters.
• Proficiency with automated contract management systems and computerized applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical product development processes and CRO involvement.
