Senior Project Manager

About the role

AgileEngine is seeking a Senior Project Manager to own the full lifecycle of client‑facing software delivery engagements. You will act as the primary client liaison, lead engineering teams, and drive Agile delivery to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and on budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation through closure.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, resource allocations, schedules, and risk registers.
• Monitor project budgets, financials, and forecasts, ensuring fiscal discipline.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders, including developers, account managers, and clients.
• Implement and continuously improve Agile delivery processes.
• Identify, mitigate, and resolve delivery risks, issues, and bottlenecks.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling expectations and escalations.
• Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams, conducting regular 1:1s and career‑development initiatives.
• Coordinate recruiting, promotions, and performance management activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, especially with fixed‑price and short‑term projects.
• Proven track record of managing projects from inception to delivery.
• Strong financial acumen with experience in budget management and reporting.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
• Outstanding client‑management abilities and stakeholder‑influence skills.
