Senior Manual QA Engineer – Frontend Testing

About the role

We are building a high‑performance engineering team for an innovative, backend‑heavy platform in the veterinary sector. The platform standardises clinical data from multiple management systems and is launching a new AI‑driven initiative for medical condition prediction and automated insurance claims. As a Senior Manual QA Engineer you will own the validation of frontend updates within the data‑standardisation layer, ensuring UI changes do not disrupt data workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Perform thorough manual testing of frontend updates, confirming seamless user interactions and functional stability.
• Validate that UI changes correctly reflect and interact with backend data payloads.
• Author, maintain, and execute comprehensive test cases and bug reports.
• Collaborate closely with frontend engineers and product managers to clarify requirements and close feedback loops quickly.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude to accelerate test‑scenario creation, edge‑case generation, and documentation.
• Work autonomously, picking up backlog items and running validation cycles without continuous oversight.
• Communicate defects clearly in English to a remote development team.

Required profile

• Solid professional experience in manual web‑application testing with a strong focus on frontend verification.
• Experience testing platforms built with modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Proficiency with browser developer tools for debugging, element inspection, and network‑traffic/API response analysis.
• Familiarity with tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and structured version‑control workflows.
• AI‑first mindset: openness to using LLMs to enhance productivity in test design and documentation.
• Excellent English communication skills and ability to thrive under tight deadlines.
