Senior iOS Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to join GoFundMe’s Mobile team in Buenos Aires. You will help shape the future of our platform by building high‑quality, performant iOS experiences that empower millions of users to give and receive support.

Key responsibilities

• Drive architectural, product and technology decisions for front‑end features.
• Design and implement new iOS features from scratch using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Collaborate with product managers to define clear requirements, deliverables and milestones.
• Translate designs and wireframes into clean, maintainable code.
• Analyze and optimise UI and backend integration for efficiency and performance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience.
• Strong proficiency with Swift, SwiftUI and object‑oriented programming.
• Deep understanding of multi‑threading, memory management and caching on mobile devices.
• Experience writing unit tests and delivering testable code.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and backend tech stacks.
• Excellent problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
