Senior Group People Director - Major Projects and Programs

About the role

Lead the People and organisation agenda for Worley’s Major Projects & Programs (MPP) group, advising senior leaders on workforce, talent and organisational decisions. This Americas‑based executive position reports to the Chief People Officer.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Group Executive President and MPP leadership to translate portfolio priorities into integrated People plans.
• Lead strategic workforce planning, anticipating capacity constraints, scarce‑skill needs and critical capability gaps.
• Develop and execute strategies for global talent mobilisation, deployment, redeployment and retention.
• Shape leadership and talent strategies, including succession planning, talent reviews and leadership development.
• Coach senior leaders to improve leadership effectiveness, team performance and project execution.
• Oversee organisation design, operating‑model change, transformation initiatives and complex workforce/employee‑relations matters.
• Mobilise People Business Partners, People Operations and regional teams around MPP priorities.
• Represent MPP within the People Leadership Team and contribute to enterprise People strategy.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, organisational development, psychology or equivalent experience.
• Significant People leadership experience in large project‑based, consulting, engineering, construction or energy organisations.
• Proven experience as a principal People partner to senior executives responsible for major project delivery.
• Deep expertise in strategic workforce planning, global mobilisation, organisation design, succession and large‑scale change.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, including project delivery models and workforce risk management.
• Executive advisory and influencing capability with excellent communication skills.
