Senior Google Ads Consultant for B2B SaaS

About the role

LeanTeams is seeking a hands‑on Senior Google Ads Consultant to help a bootstrapped B2B SaaS company serving health and wellness practitioners. You will work directly with the growth lead to optimise paid acquisition through a free‑trial funnel, starting with a focused account review and practical action plan.

Key responsibilities

• Review Google Search and Performance Max campaigns, conversion goals, bidding strategies and measurement set‑ups.
• Assess traffic quality and the user journey from ad click through trial to paying customer.
• Identify high‑priority tests across campaigns, ad copy and landing pages.
• Explain recommendations clearly and support the growth lead in decision‑making.
• Define a realistic implementation scope and execute agreed changes where useful.

Required profile

• Strong, recent hands‑on experience with Google Search and Performance Max campaigns, especially for software or lead‑generation.
• Proven B2B SaaS acquisition experience, ideally with free‑trial funnels targeting small business buyers.
• Demonstrated ability to improve customer acquisition cost or paid customer growth, with clear attribution of your contribution.
• Capability to assess Google Ads and GA4 measurement, distinguish tracking issues from acquisition problems, and know when to involve specialists.
• Excellent spoken and written English, solid prioritisation skills and comfort with a short initial engagement.
