Senior GenAI Engineer

About the role

Avenga is looking for a Senior GenAI Engineer to lead the design, development, and deployment of generative AI solutions for enterprise customers. You will work closely with product, engineering, and data teams to embed large language model capabilities into scalable, secure platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using vector databases such as FAISS, ChromaDB, or Azure AI Search.
• Develop production‑grade Python services with frameworks like FastAPI, LangChain, and LangGraph.
• Integrate LLMs (OpenAI GPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) into existing products and create robust APIs.
• Ensure security, observability, and performance of AI applications in cloud environments (Azure, AWS).

Required profile

• 8‑10+ years of enterprise software development experience.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles and AI concepts.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs and prompt engineering.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive technical innovation.
