Senior Engineer – Customer Experience Engineering

About the role

Caylent is seeking a Senior CXE Engineer to lead enterprise contact‑center transformations. You will work remotely, building AI‑driven contact flows, serverless back‑ends, and full‑stack tooling for large‑scale customer interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement Amazon Connect contact flows, AI agents, and integration with Lambda, Customer Profiles and dynamic routing.
• Develop generative AI solutions on Amazon Bedrock/Claude, including prompt engineering, tool‑calling, and multi‑agent orchestration.
• Build full‑stack, serverless applications using TypeScript/Node.js, React, Lambda, EventBridge, Step Functions, DynamoDB and Kinesis.
• Author infrastructure as code with AWS CDK (TypeScript) and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) with automated testing.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams, conduct technical workshops, and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years on Amazon Connect or comparable CCaaS platforms at enterprise scale.
• Proven experience delivering production AI/LLM solutions and serverless architectures.
• Strong communication skills for client‑facing demos, technical workshops and knowledge transfer.
