Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

Sovos is building the future of global tax compliance through modern, scalable cloud infrastructure. As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will design, implement and manage the systems that keep our products reliable, performant and ready to scale.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement auto‑scalable Docker Swarm or Kubernetes clusters using Terraform.
• Create and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines for CI/CD, ensuring smooth software releases.
• Develop deployment scripts for health checks, alerts and infrastructure provisioning, leveraging AI tools.
• Oversee configuration and management of application and infrastructure settings in collaboration with development and operations teams.
• Produce comprehensive technical documentation for configuration, release and deployment processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software releases and deployments, partnering with Product and Scrum teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in DevOps engineering roles with a track record of designing and managing cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
• Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills, able to resolve complex deployment issues independently.
• Willingness to work off‑hours when necessary and participate in an on‑call rotation.
