Senior Developer - Risk Management & GCO Products

About the role

EY's Enterprise Technology division provides technology services and solutions to support over 300,000 EY people, including emerging collaboration tools and technology infrastructure. The Senior Developer (listed as Analyst Engineer) is a hands-on technical developer who partners with application architecture, the business sponsor and business team experts to develop and modify existing Risk Management and General Counsel's Office products. The role involves working with leads and project teams to develop best practices and take lessons learned into future projects.

Key responsibilities

• Manage technical tasks within the project plan, coordinate with the project manager and follow quality-delivery processes
• Take part in the full delivery cycle, from sprint planning through release
• Deliver quality, robust code that performs well and can scale as needed
• Anticipate project issues, risks and threats early and implement the most appropriate solutions
• Work with team, group and global leads to make key decisions

Required profile

• 9+ years of experience in application design and development
• Demonstrated experience working with vendor applications, external resource providers and managing business relationships to deliver value
• Self-starter able to work independently and in a team, with clear communication skills and experience managing and motivating virtual teams
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to multi-task using Agile methodology

Required skills

• .NET: C#.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Windows Services
• Database: MS SQL Server, stored procedures, views, functions, T-SQL
• Client web technologies: JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, jQuery, Node.js, Angular, HTTP REST calls
• Nice to have: Azure DevOps, Power BI, Power Query, SSRS, SharePoint (Server Object Model, JSOM/CSOM, REST API)
