Senior Cloud Software Architect

About the role

Caylent is seeking a Senior Cloud Software Architect to lead the design and delivery of AWS‑based cloud native applications. You will work with engineers, architects, sales and project managers to turn customer ideas into production‑ready solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Guide Agile ceremonies, translate customer requirements into actionable tickets and delegate work to engineering teams.
• Lead requirements gathering, backlog grooming, architecture discussions and ensure delivery of high‑quality cloud native applications on AWS.
• Apply DevOps best practices including CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, security, monitoring and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, test and production environments.
• Mentor and coach less experienced teammates while staying current with emerging technologies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of software development and cloud‑native system experience.
• Strong consulting skills: customer focus, collaboration, clear communication of technical concepts.
• Proven ability to lead workstreams, gather requirements and support teams.

• AWS services and resource configuration.
• Programming languages: Python, Node.js, PHP, Ruby.
• Web frameworks: React, Vue, Angular, MVC .Net.
• HTML, CSS.
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB.
• API integration, microservices, event‑based architectures.
• CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, CloudFormation, SAM.
• DevOps pipelines, build automation, branching strategies, monitoring and logging.
• Generative AI, Large Language Models, tools such as Amazon Q Developer, GitHub CoPilot, Cursor.AI.
