Senior Business Analyst – Insurance (Spanish Speaker, Remote)

About the role

CoverGo is looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong insurance domain knowledge and fluency in Spanish to join its fully remote team. You will partner with global clients and internal technical resources to translate complex business problems into actionable solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients and technical teams to identify business problems and design analytical solutions.
• Plan and design business processes and system modifications ranging from simple to semi‑complex.
• Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements through workshops and interviews.
• Create comprehensive test case scenarios and oversee testing to ensure requirements are met.
• Develop user stories and requirement documents to support system changes.
• Support QA, UAT and release phases, including defect analysis and change maintenance.
• Assist in estimating project tasks and may mentor junior analysts.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Degree in Business, IT or a related field.
• Proven experience in the insurance industry, preferably health insurance.
• Spanish language proficiency.
• Certification in health‑insurance domains (e.g., INS/LOMA, III) is a plus.

Required skills

• Agile methodology and sprint planning.
• UAT and QA testing processes.
• Experience with no‑code platforms and web/mobile application lifecycles.
