Senior API Engineer / Architect – Omnichannel Commerce

About the role

As a Senior API Engineer / Architect you will design and build REST APIs and integrations for a leading omnichannel enterprise commerce platform serving large hoteliers and multi‑property operators in the Travel & Hospitality sector.

Key responsibilities

• Design REST API architecture for enterprise, multi‑tenant commerce, setting standards for contracts, versioning and reuse.
• Integrate ERP and e‑commerce systems and manage APIs with Apigee, supporting omnichannel acceptance and cross‑property reconciliation.
• Build C#/.NET B2B services on AWS, designing for scale, resilience and enterprise SLAs.
• Apply web‑service security, SSL mutual authentication and Azure AD, ensuring compliance with financial‑platform requirements.

Required profile

• 8+ years of API engineering and architecture experience.
• Travel & hospitality industry background, specifically enterprise hotelier commerce.
• Ability to work aligned to U.S. Eastern (EST) hours from a Latin America location.
• Strong written and spoken English for client‑side collaboration.
