Senior Android Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a self‑motivated Senior Android Engineer to design, develop and maintain high‑quality Android applications. The role involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams across the Americas to translate market and customer needs into secure, scalable mobile solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Android apps using Java, Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform Mobile (KMM).
• Collaborate with product, design, and backend teams to define new features and release cycles.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and efficient code.
• Build and evolve a cloud‑based mobile platform supporting future patient‑ and device‑centric products.
• Scope work, break it into modules, estimate effort and coordinate with program management.
• Participate in daily triage meetings, code reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Debug, troubleshoot and optimise application performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of native Android development experience.
• Proven ability to quickly learn new technologies and deliver prototypes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and experience working in Agile environments.
