Senior AI Developer (LLM, RAG, Azure)

About the role

EY GDS Digital Engineering is looking for a Senior AI Developer to join its EY Advisory Digital Engineering team. The role focuses on AI, machine learning, LLM-based solutions, RAG systems and cloud-native development, and offers the chance to help grow a new service offering within a global, multi-disciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and implement AI/ML solutions using LLMs, RAG architectures and prompt engineering best practices.
• Build Python-based services, APIs and automation components for scalable AI applications.
• Integrate Azure OpenAI, Mistral, Qwen and other model providers into enterprise solutions.
• Design agentic AI workflows using Auto-Gen and LangGraph.
• Train, validate and maintain ML/deep learning models with Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, Keras and N-BEATS.
• Integrate data storage and retrieval via Azure Blob Storage, CosmosDB, MongoDB/NoSQL and SQL.
• Deploy serverless and containerized components with Azure Functions, Docker and cloud-native practices.
• Write unit tests, maintain code quality, use GitHub for version control and follow secure engineering practices such as Linux server hardening.
• Collaborate with distributed teams and contribute reusable delivery assets.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or master's degree.
• Specialized Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, Azure OpenAI, RAG systems and prompt engineering.
• Experience with cloud-native development using Azure Functions and Azure storage/database services.
• Experience building REST APIs and using GitHub, Docker and unit testing.
• Understanding of secure engineering practices including Linux server hardening.
• Ability to communicate technical conclusions in reports and presentations, work under agile delivery and collaborate with globally distributed teams.
