Senior Accountant – Remote Fintech & Crypto

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a fast‑growing fintech and cryptocurrency client. The role is fully remote and focuses on managing high‑volume accounting operations across a nationwide network of digital‑currency ATMs, OTC trading, online purchases and digital wallets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including month‑end close, reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Reconcile cash and transaction activity across a distributed network of digital‑currency kiosks, working with operations and cash‑logistics teams.
• Support digital‑asset accounting, tracking transaction volume, gains and losses across multiple revenue channels.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management and vendor relationships.
• Assist with compliance and regulatory reporting for a licensed money‑services business.
• Integrate and optimize cloud‑based accounting tools to scale with the business.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of U.S. accounting experience; CPA preferred.
• Proven ability to handle full‑cycle accounting in high‑transaction, multi‑location environments.
• Strong general‑ledger, reconciliation and month‑end close skills.
• Experience making sound financial judgments in fast‑growing settings.
• Fluent English communication, both written and verbal.
• Based in LATAM or Europe.

• Collaboration tools: Slack, Zoom, Google Meet.
• Google Workspace: Sheets, Docs, Drive.
