Senior Collections and Debt Recovery Specialist

About the role

Anyone AI, an AI education company building a regional talent hub in Latin America, is hiring a Senior Collections and Debt Recovery Specialist. The role is fully remote and manages the payment obligations of fellows who have completed its training, covering about 70% of fellows in Argentina and the rest in Mexico, Colombia, Chile and other LATAM countries.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of fellows with active payment obligations, outstanding balances and unfulfilled agreements.
• Review contracts, case histories, employment information and contact records before each interaction.
• Contact fellows by phone, email, WhatsApp and other channels, following contact and confidentiality policies.
• Design and run follow-up sequences for unresponsive or silent fellows.
• Explain payment-triggering conditions, amounts and due dates, and negotiate payment commitments and plans within authorized limits.
• Follow up on agreements until paid and record collection activity, objections and commitments in the CRM.
• Coordinate with Finance, Operations, the fellow support team and legal counsel, and prepare case files for legal review.

Required profile

• At least 3 years of experience in collections, debt recovery or payment negotiation, including cases with significant resistance.
• Portfolio management experience in Argentina and other LATAM countries, and knowledge of local practices.
• Proven results in payment recovery and agreement follow-up.
• Ability to handle objections, de-escalate conflicts and explain contractual terms clearly.
• Excellent written and verbal Spanish; availability to coordinate across Argentina and other LATAM time zones.
• A plus: fintech, personal lending, education financing, edtech, bootcamps, subscriptions or deferred-payment experience, and experience with law firms.
