Senior Accountant (Fintech & Crypto)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a fast‑growing fintech and cryptocurrency company that operates a nationwide network of digital‑currency ATMs and offers OTC trading, online purchases and digital wallet services. The role is fully remote and focuses on ensuring accurate, compliant accounting across a high‑volume, multi‑channel business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, month‑end close and financial reporting.
• Reconcile cash and transaction activity across a distributed network of digital‑currency kiosks, working with operations and cash‑logistics teams.
• Support accounting for digital‑asset transactions, tracking volume, gains and losses across kiosk sales, OTC trading, online purchases and wallet activity.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, expense management and vendor relationships.
• Integrate and optimise accounting tools and systems to scale with a multi‑location business.
• Assist with compliance and regulatory reporting for a licensed money‑services business.
• Leverage collaboration tools (Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace) daily to enhance efficiency.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of accounting experience with U.S.‑based companies; CPA preferred.
• Proven ability to manage full‑cycle accounting in high‑transaction‑volume or multi‑location environments.
• Strong general‑ledger, reconciliation and month‑end close skills.
• Experience making sound financial judgments in fast‑paced, high‑growth settings.
• Familiarity with cryptocurrency, digital assets or regulated financial‑services environments is a plus.
