SAP FI Senior Consultant - Application Management

About the role

EY is looking for an SAP FI Senior Consultant to support clients in applying SAP FI solutions, particularly in revenue accounting and IFRS compliance. The role covers day-to-day application management support for SAP applications, including incident, change and problem management, and involves mentoring junior team members and handling complex technical issues and outages.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 or 3 application management support for SAP applications, including service requests, incidents, enhancements, changes and problems
• Analyze user incidents and defects, solve them and follow up with customers and teams until resolved
• Handle change requests and understand new business requirements
• Lead and coordinate resolution of complex technical issues and system outages, including root cause analysis
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and advise on SAP FI solutions and designs
• Develop and maintain documentation such as configuration, user guides and test scripts
• Mentor and train junior SAP FI team members
• Take part in on-call rotation and off-hours support, and work shift hours to cover client needs in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Americas

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related technology field or comparable experience
• 3+ years of experience in SAP FI, preferably with global clients
• Experience in client management across regions and in offshore/on-site models
• Experience setting up, growing and delivering application management teams
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a time-critical environment and to manage flexible hours including shifts and on-call duty

Required skills

• SAP FI (S/4HANA) configuration and implementation
• ITIL and ITSM processes
• Incident, change and defect resolution for FI
• Nice to have: SAP SD, CO and BRIM integration, and SAP FI certification
