SAP CO RAR Senior Consultant (Application Management)

About the role

EY is looking for an SAP CO RAR Senior Consultant (Level 3) to provide application management support for SAP CO and RAR solutions. The role covers service requests, incidents, enhancements, changes and problems, and includes mentoring the CO team and resolving complex technical issues and outages. It involves on-call and shift work to cover client hours in Australia, Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day Level 2 or 3 application management support for SAP applications, including service requests, incident management, enhancement requests, change management and problem management.
• Lead and mentor the CO team, foster collaboration and continuous improvement, and train junior members.
• Resolve complex technical issues and system outages, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Work with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements and advise on SAP CO solutions and designs.
• Develop and maintain documentation such as configuration, user guides and test scripts.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and SAP best practices, and take part in on-call rotation and off-hours support.
• Handle change requests and follow up customer issues and requests promptly.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related technology field or comparable experience.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP CO and RAR, preferably with global clients.
• Experience configuring and implementing SAP RAR (1.2/1.3 or S/4HANA) to comply with IFRS 15/ASC 606, including performance obligations, contract management and integration with SD/FI/CO.
• Knowledge of ITIL and ITSM and of CO integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, HR, PP, PM).
• Experience in client management across regions and in offshore/on-site models, and in applying minimal supervision in a time-critical environment.
• Willingness to work shifts and be on call.

Required skills

• SAP CO and SAP RAR (1.2/1.3 or S/4HANA)
• BRF+ for RAR integration with SD, CO and BRIM (ideally)
• Reporting options in RAR and functional specifications for custom RICEF objects (ideally)
• SAP certification in SAP CO (ideally)
