About the role
Syneos Health is seeking a Sample Management Specialist II to handle receipt, inventory, chain of custody, storage, transfers, and disposition of study samples and reference materials. The role ensures material integrity and supports laboratory analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, control, and disposition study samples and reference materials.
- Manage shipping, receiving, destruction, and transfer of samples as directed by clients.
- Provide samples and materials to laboratory staff for analysis.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and order when needed.
- Support operation and maintenance of sample storage equipment and environmental monitoring systems.
- Archive documentation related to sample management.
Required profile
- High school diploma.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Bilingual English proficiency sufficient to understand simple messages and follow basic instructions.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience using sample‑tracking software.
